Winterizing Your System

Prestone knows the importance of winterizing your waterline systems. Whether it be a RV, Pool, Boat, Seasonal Home or Irrigation System, stay protected from waterline bursts with Prestone® Waterline Antifreeze.  Our ready to use formula is ready to go straight out of the bottle. You do not have to dilute, dilution will only reduce the protection.

DIRECTIONS:

• Follow owner’s manual for special service instructions for system to be winterized.
• System must be free of residual water before using this product.

*NOTE: While this product may get slushy at approximately 5ºF, it will provide burst protection down to -100ºF.

TO DE-WINTERIZE SYSTEM:

1. Refer to the vehicle owner’s manual for the recommended de-winterizing procedure.
2. Drain system completely of all antifreeze.
3. Fill fresh-water supply tanks with clean, potable water.
4. Open all faucets and flush all toilets until all color disappears.
